Cup-A-Joe has been in business since 1994.  We were the first coffee shop in Roseville.  Cup-A-Joe was founded with the desire to service customers in a way that would be fast, of real quality, and not your average shop.  Until recently Our car-hop style drive-thru has been an important part of who we are. We’re changing We love seeing the same friendly, familiar faces each day and look forward to serving you a quality delicious latte’ or cappuccino.

In 2008, James and Rachel Hooper bought Cup-A-Joe.  James' friends know him as someone who always has a coffee in his hand.  It's been his dream to own a coffee shop since graduating from Del Oro in 1994.   Years later that dream became a reality as he was working there part-time, and the opportunity came up to take over this legacy. 

Slowly there have been good changes to bring Cup-A-Joe Coffee and Tea to a comfortable place where community can involve. Family and friends are important to James and Rachel. We strive to be a place where people can come and meet, do homework, and hangout; after all, we strive for community!

In 2010, Cup-A-Joe Coffee and Tea moved to Rocklin, CA. We have increased our loose leaf tea selection. We have partnered with very own tea broker out of Chicago in order to bring you the best quality tea. Our loose leaf tea is the only kind you’ll find in Northern California. Come and check it out.
