| For the last 3 years I've traveled to Uganda with a team to start the process of building an orphanage/school for about 300 kids in a village called Toggo. While visiting I've noticed time and time again the poor conditions of their feet. They don't have the luxury of going to the store and buying a pair of good quality shoes. Cup-A-Joe wants to help with that need. We're not limiting it to Uganda, but to anyone who might need a pair of decent shoes. We want to be serious about it that's why it's become who we are, what we're about, in addition to great quality coffee. Bring in a pair of new or slightly worn shoes and we'll give you .25 cents off your drink. We'll let you know where shoes are going at all times. |
